Team, Customer is compaining about MC9060 PPC03 with monochrome display connecting to MS Server 2008 using terminal services client - input fields on the remote screen are black and thus unusable. There is a registry hack which cures the similar situation on WinCE model [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\Display\Intel\EW50301FLWP] "Bpp"=dword:08 ; 256 shades of gray but it does not work for PPC03 model where the unit remains stuck on the splash screen after reboot. 1. Is there a similar hack for PPC03? 2. Are there any settings on Server 2008 which may help? Note that with Server 2003 eerything is fine. Thanks, Valery

The WinCE display driver was modified to support emulating 8 bits per pixel to work around the remote desktop limitation, but PPC never had that support (perhaps because it didn't have an issue except now with Windows Server 2008).  If the issue is due to the same root cause as WinCE (the display only supports 4 bits per pixel), then there is no solution for this on Pocket PC.
