Markus/Don, There is no built-in JVM in Windows Mobile - it only supports a subset of Javascript (Jscript) in the browser . If you need a full JVM then we support NSICOM Creme and IBM Lotus Expeditor Mobile JVM's using the EMDK for Java. The reference for Jscript in WM6.5 is located at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb159833.aspx and I think the feature set is similar to WM6.1 . Best Regards, Ian Hatton EMS EMEA
Just as an FYI, the Jscript version installed in WM6.5 is 5.8 whereas the version supplied with WM6.1 is 5.6. There is a summary of the version history of Jscript at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JScript Best Regards, Ian Hatton EMS EMEA
I also require a response to the question of Java support on WM6.5. The enquiry on embedded IE is with respect to JVM 1.6. Is it supported or do we have to resort to say Mozilla or an alternate browser?
