Date/ Time - 12/14/2010, 3:30pm Case 2279733 Device MC9090 Operating System WM 6.1 Customer is asking for documentation / explanation of settings for (start\settings\power\cpu pwr) Searching DevCentral, I have seen WLAN_Power_Management_Modes.doc which explains settings for Fusion. I am asking if functionality is similar? If not, do you have this white paper for the CPU PWR settings? If not would need explanation of each setting and how it relates to optimizing battery life per shift.  wm 6.1, "CPU PWR", "MAX POWER SAVE", "MAX PERFORMANCE", "AUTO POWER"

Max Performance: Keep the CPU running at full power to process everything quickly. Max Power Save: Keep the CPU running at a low power level to maintain battery life, but performance will be slower. Auto Power: Automatically adjust the CPU power level in order to balance between battery life and performance.  When software requires the CPU, the CPU will go into full power to handle the requests, and then when the system is idle (not talking about suspended, but when there is nothing to process) the CPU will go into a power save mode. Auto Power is recommended for most normal use. Dave
