I am trying to connect an RS507 to my HP laptop using HID mode (I got SPP mode working and have unpaired the devices). The Laptop has a different set of NT drivers than those described in the beta documentation. I am able to discover the RS507 as a keyboard, but I always get errors when attempting to pair. Any suggestions would be appreciated

What is firmware version of your RS507?
In talking with product management a few additional pieces of information were gathered 1) BT 2.1 that supports SSP and no passkey is required. 2) BT 2.1 functionality is determined by the HW and the BT stack. To utilize BT2.1 functionality install the stack provided with the dongle 3) The BT 2.1 Dongle used in my test is a Belkin Model

Hi Marcus Only RS507 rev B are capable to be flash with the Firmware that will connect to a PC. To know if the RS507 is rev B the manufacturing date must be July 2009 or earlier. Serge
to be more correct - only special CPR will support HID connection. Talk to Ish-Hurwitz Amnon-BAI001 to get the package
Both HID and SPP mode worked exactly as expected with the Belkin adapter below. The adapter is shipped with WIDCOM drivers which installed without incident. I could only get SPP mode to work with my embedded BT on my corporate HP laptop. This test was done on an old dell 620 without internal BT
