We have MT2070 laser (not imager) Scanner. Aiming is a problem. We have many barcodes on picklist. Picklistmode will not work on MT2070 laser When pulling the trigger it starts to decode immediately. If by accident the scanner is on wrong barcode it is already too late, it's decoded and stored. Is it possible to configure MT2070 to start the scanbeam on trigger and start decoding on release of trigger? When after a time-out no barcode is detected the scanbeam will stop.

This functionality would decrease a large amount of unwanted misreads.

In Symbol.MT2000.ScannerServices.Laserattributes there is property AimDuration (thats in ms, the biggest value one can enter is 255, thats only a quarter of a second; not usefull)

In Symbol.MT2000.ScannerServices.Laserattributes there is property AimMode (Dot, slab)

In Symbol.MT2000.ScannerServices.Laserattributes there is NOT property AimType (AIM_TYPE_TIMED_RELEASE would be a candidate for my wanted type of aiming)

How can aiming problem be solved?
