Hi Communitiy, installed MSP 3.3.1 at a customer site on Windows Server 2008 R2 with default configuraion. The server is not linked to any domain. It is just an standalone server. Everything works fine except the Remote Control. If we try to execute Remote Control by clicking on the Motorol Remote Control link within the device details page we get an java error. See attached picture. We tried with several internet browser and internet browser security settings. The issue persists. We are pretty sure that the issue is in relation to the windows server 2008 R2. Any ideas? Thomas

Thomas, Only twice we saw this issue. Once it was because of IE security settings. In another case we had to close the issue because customer has re-installed MSP. May be one of this Firewall on the server which is blocking jar file or jar file type is not as added proper MIME type in IIS7 configuration You may want to open a support case to resolve this. Thomas, This error is seen when browser could not download the jar file from the server. Are there any firewall in between blocking the jar file? Are you able to launch Motorola Remote Control from the server machine itself? Thanks Krishna
