Hi, We’re trying to figure out how the redundant RFS000s will play in an MSP environment – we use the USB key / FTP server of the RFS as the MSP relay server.  So if the primary switch goes down (.101) will the secondary (.102) start responding to MSP requests for the .101 IP as well?

Otherwise... can we configure a backup relay server IP address on the handheld?  Eg if .101 doesn’t respond, check .102?  I couldn’t see anything obvious that would allow this?  Is there a hidden syntax – eg using a comma or semi-colon to separate IP relay server addresses to be specified on the handheld?

Hi Harry, You can't have 2 relay server on Handheld side. But for the RFS side, you can setup Virtual IP addresses in order to have the same IP for both RFS. It's a virtual IP - same for both RFS. And each RFS has its own address. RFS1 : .101 RFS2 : .102 VIP : .103 You setup your device with .103 as relay server. Hope this help.

OK thanks. I'll pass this onto the partner/customer and see how we go
