5) Clarify Case # I am assisting PM to reflash his device. He was attempting to upgrade his device from WM6.1 to WM6.5 but was not able to do so, was getting an error. All attempts to reflash the device has duplicated his issue. Error Message Below. I have attempted the following to upgrade device - From bsp 7.27 to 8.35 via Osupdate Package on SD card. - VC6096 clean and blank Package on SD card. - From bsp 7.27 to 9.38 via Osupdate Package on SD card. - Upgrade Package WM61 to WM65 BSP 9.38 on SD card. - From bsp 7.27 to 7.27 via Osupdate Package on SD card. - From bsp 7.27 to 7.27 via bootloader on SD card. loaded images one at a time. - Downgrade Package WM65 to wm61 on SD card.(just in case was not upgraded properly) - In bootloader tried to install just the GPS_SLC.s.bin file on SD card (bin files do not show up). in every single attempt listed above, received same error, any other step to try? Error Received: DwnldApp Error Error during update : Image File: GPS_SLC.s.bin Function: PreBinImageDownload, Line: 2363, HR: 0x80004005, GetLastError: 0

See SPR20217 for MC75. Issue casued by bad loading of the OS in the repair depot. Affects all MPA1.5 devices. Was this device recently returned from repair?
Hi Tom, Thanks for the response. Just asked PM. As per PM, "high probability not repaired". I see SPR 20217 is still in analysis. Will have to wait to see if a fix is released or if PM has to send device in for repair.
