Reported on MC3190, verified on MC9190, both CE6. Start the standard RDP client enter the host address, click connect try entering username - you'll be stopped at the right edge of the visible input field. At least I was. Is it me or a nice bug of MS? Or even ours? Regards, Valery

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa912575.aspx writes about user name length. This is for v6, but I don't think this can be so different.
Microsoft fix from SPR#20465
MC3190 CE6.0 uses RDP5.2. I have tried it on BSP17 and 26, with both only 14 chars possible to enter. MS says in the requirements for user name " Maximum length of 104 ASCII characters"
Michal, Thanks for the feedback. Where did you find the info about 104 characters? When entering just dots (periods) you'll be able to get more than 14 (24 in my case). You may enter as much characters as you like as long as they fit into the visible input field. I consider this as a bug, not sure whose though. Opened a case, no reply so far from support.
