IMPORTANT: PMP320 AP’s with Tanapa’s 3530CBA and 3630CBA must NOT have their software downgraded FROM FACTORY VERSION.

New versions of the PMP320 Access Point have been shipping since mid-March 2011.  All units are labeled with a model and a tanapa number.  The Tanapa number is used to indicate the hardware version of the board.  The currently shipping hardware version is listed below:

Model Number 3630APC              Tanapa=3630CBA Model Number 3530APC              Tanapa=3530CBA

These units are shipping with PMP320 software version e2.1.1.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  These units (3630CBA and 3530CBA) must NOT be downgraded below release e.2.1.1.   If you attempt to downgrade these units it will lock the radio and it will need to be returned for repair.

A field service bulletin will be issued on this topic as well.  If you have further questions, please contact technical support for more details.
