I have a customer who created 2 WLAN's (ESSID) on the same BSSID The site uses adaptive AP7131's with an RFS7000 running 4.3.2. When Apple products are connected to an ESSID on a BSS with more than 1 ESSID, they hop between the 2 ESSID's. All other devices will connect to the desired ESSID and stay there. We worked around this by placing each ESSID used by Apple devices on a seperate BSSID to demonstarte that this problem is not caused by multiple compatible WLAN's, but by the sharing of the BSSID. Has anyone found a configuration on either the WLAN infrastructure of the Apple devices to address this issue?
