Free utility attached will disable the Android 'swipe to unlock' required on each power up on the ET1 and MC40 (this does not seem to be possible via Settings as far as I can see).

works fine.. Swipe to unlock elemination is a handy utility, when it comes to working with many scanners testings with ET1. cheers.
