Beginner: paper for ticket printing

Hello,

I'm going to write the first app for ticket printing for my cultural event.
We would like to print tickets on thick paper (200g) and I hope Zebra GK420d can work with this kind of paper.
Paper should be perforated, and I wonder - how, using ZPL, make sure that printer will stop printing exactly on perforation?
Does paper need to have special mark, stripe?
Can Zebra GK420d print such tickets and control detect perforation of paper?

Best regards,

Jakub Królikowski

Hi Jakub,
I'm not sure on the thickness, but ticket paper usually has a black mark on the back to indicate the perforation.  The GK420d can detect these marks.  Use the command "~JC" to calibrate the printer to this media.
I'll check on the maximum media thickness for the GK printers.

I would prefer to use thick paper to print tickets because perforated papers give best results. You can approach https://australianwritings.net/buy-assignments-online/ for ideas to write quality content in cheap prices. I hope this service proves informative for you.
