I have a ZT220 label printer. It works well with a special label printer software. Now I need to print labels with my own java software. Is it possible to print to a label printer the same way as I would to any other printer from my java software?
To find out I tried to print with a notepad, word or paint. But nothing happens. So my question is: Can I print with a standard software to a label printer? Just define the papersize and print a line of text or a graphic to the windows printer driver? If it is possible, how is it done, what settings do I need for the windows printer driver?
Thank you

When I open properties from the windows printer queue and press 'print test page', then I get a page feed on my ZT220. But there is no text or graphic on the label.
