Omnii XT15 EB F11 key

Hello,

function key F11 does not work on Omnii XT15 WM 6.5 using EB V1.6.

The setup is done in config.xml and EBFunctionKeyMapping.xml as described in the documentation. F1-F19 and F12 works.

The sample APP shows keycode 122 when F11 is pressed but does not work using EB with SAP EWM.

Any idea what the issue might be?

Regards,

Uwe

Dear Uwe,I remembered that

Dear Uwe,

I remembered that there was an issue w.r.t F11 key when invoked using HTML onkeyup/onkeydown Events on XT15 & WAP4 WM devices.

In order to overcome this issue, please apply the below settings inside EB Config.xml under DefaultMetaTags apart from the settings which was done earlier.

      <DefaultMetaTags>

                <MetaTag value="KeyCapture~KeyValue:All;Dispatch:True;KeyEvent:url('javascript:processKeyEvent(%json);');"/>

      </DefaultMetaTags>

Note: I am registering processKeyEvent above as JavaScript callback method which is generally used at SAP EWM environment for HTML onkeydown events. Please modify the method name accordingly if the registered callback is different at your end.

Let me know if you need any further clarification.

Thanks & Regards,

Hello Abhineet,

perfect!

Works fine.

I added <MetaTagvalue="KeyCapture~KeyValue:All;Dispatch:True;KeyEvent:url('javascript:processKeyEvent(%json);');"/>
to the DefaultMetaTags section.

That was missing in config.xml.

Thanks for your help.

Regards,

Uwe

Hi Abhineet,

I'm having a similiar problem as Uwe stated above, my function keys F7 and F9 do not work on Omnii XT15 WM 6.5 using EB V1.6. My configuration in config.xml and EBFunctionKeyMapping.xml is exactly as described in the documentation. I've even added the suggested metatag to my config.xml but the function keys are still not working on the device. I'm also using EB with SAP EWM. Could you please help me with this issue?

Best regards,

David
