Fully loaded MC18 furniture will not power up
When applying power to a fully loaded furniture, nothing happened...
The cradles did not power up, and the MC18's did not boot, so all stayed black
Only when first all MC18's were manually booted by pressing the scan button, and then applying power, the cradles were powered up
- 15 cradles with 45* MC18's (all MC18's powered off)
- 6 power supplies
- cradles on fw 3.0 / terminals on BSP 46.01
So:
How can I have the full system powered up when the MC18's are shut down (or it their batteries are depleted..)

I assume your cradles have been configured for 1.5 amp charging and all MC18's have fully discharged batteries, correct?
All units and cradles are configured for fast charge, with 3 cradles per power supply
All MC18's were put in off mode in the way you describe it
The batteries were not fully discharged, I think they were charged around 20%
So this was the setup when I discovered this issue.
I will try to reproduce when I am on site again. Will also test powering up half of the equipment, to see what happens.
We have tested the following in an attempt to replicate this issue:
3 cradles configured @ 1.5 amp charge rate, 12 MC18's in off mode with batteries below 20% charge. Apply 220 VAC power to PWRS-14000-241R power supply and find the both cradles and MC18's boot normally (BSP46.0001, CRDL FW3.0)
Note: off mode achieved by placing MC18 in powered cradle then press and hold scan button for 10 sec. (until screen blank) the release scan button. NO subsequent scan button press.
1. Please use this test procedure on your equipment and report back.
2. Verify that your installation uses 1.5 amp charging in all positions and a maximum three cradles are connected to one PWRS-14000-241R power supply (two cradles on one leg of the Y-cable and one cradle on the other leg).
3. Or, verify that your installation uses 1.0 amp charging in all positions and a maximum four cradles are connected to one PWRS-14000-241R power supply (2 cradles per Y-cable leg)
