Good Morning Developers!

We have an all-star group going to the Xamarin Evolve event this year. We are planning a great lineup of activities in the booth to open doors for revenue growth and opportunities in the Enterprise market.

We will have demonstrations of the new Zebra Development tools, the EMDK for Xamarin and the Link-OS SDK for Xamarin. These kits make it easy to create Enterprise apps and let you focus on your UI. The EMDK, or Enterprise Mobile Development Kit, has tools to help you set up your app in Enterprise Environments. It also has a library for efficient use of the imager or barcode scanner. The Link-OS Multiplatform SDK has libraries to help enable printing to Zebra printers from Android and iOS.

Show us your code! We will have a support area where we can work with you to help you create best in class Enterprise apps. We will have Zebra hardware on hand to try out and see why Enterprise devices are the best way to provide outstanding user experience.

Best of all is the team manning the booth!

  • Nader Newman: Product Manager for the EMDK for Xamarin. He can update you on future plans for this library and developer tools.

  • Dan Quagliana: Dan leads the Zebra Developer Outreach Program and the printer ISV Technical Program. His team supports the Zebra Developer Community, Dev Events like the Dev{Kitchens} and Dev{Talks}, ISV partners, as well as Validation and White Listing programs.

  • Bill Hecox: Developer Community Manager and Android Evangelist. He is responsible for the EMDK ( Enterprise Mobility Developer Kit ) Documentation and software development support via Zebra’s Developer Community. At Evolve, Bill will be showcasing the use of the EMDK for Xamarin on multiple Zebra Android devices and providing on-site development support.

  • And finally myself, Robin West: Solution Architect and Lead Developer for the Link-OS SDK for Xamarin project. I am ready to show examples of how you can add barcode and receipt printing to your cross-platform software solutions. I will be on hand to support you in your development efforts.

That's right, no Sales or Marketing, just people eager to help you create top Enterprise applications.
