We are seeing cross adoption between 3 x WS2000 switches, on the same L2 LAN, at a multilevel retailer. The facility has power issues, and when power is restored, the switches either adopt ports from another switch, or "keep hold" of ports in the Unadopted list. We have configured the direct connect AP's MAC in the Adoption list, and the other switches AP's in the deny list. This appears to have zero effect. Any suggestions? Mike Richardson

Hi Mike, are the AP directly connected to the WS2000? If so, please add a second subnet into the WS2000 configuration. Map all Ethernetports where an AP is connected to into this subnet. That's it... Best regards, Angelo
