Hi everyone, I have a vendor, CXT Software (not Sprint Billed), and they wanted to know if they will need any type of Sprint certification of their software to deploy on the Sprint branded ES400. He is getting ready to start a rollout and wanted to make sure they didn’t run into any "gotchas." Do you know if they need to do any type of additional certification? It's not MS Certified, but it does currently work on other ES400 devices along with other Windows Mobile 6.5 devices with no issues. I don't think he needs to do any additional certification but wanted to double check with everyone prior to replying back to him. Thanks!

No additional certification is needed. CTX's application has been certified on both the Sprint branded and generic ES400 devices. CTX does not need to specific certification from Sprint to deploy on the ES400S by Sprint. They are not setup to be Sprint billed, as you point out, but no additional certification is needed for CTX to work on the Sprint specific ES400S.
